‎بسم الله والصلاة والسلام على رسول الله As-Salamu alaykum wa Rahmatullahi wa Barakaatuhu, I am 23 years old, trying to adhere to the Manhaj of Salaf us-Saalih, trying to the best of my ability to adhere to the laws and teachings of Islam in my daily life. The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said: “.. Whoever lives among you will see many differences, so beware of newly invented matters for they are misguidance. Whoever sees them must adhere to my Sunnah and the Sunnah of the upright, guided successors (Khulafa). Bite onto it with your molar teeth.†[at-Tirmidhi I am Pakistani born and raised in Canada, spent most of my life here.. I have had an Islamic upbringing whereas my parents took us to Jordan for a year and a half and years later took us to Egypt to study Arabic and memorize Quran. I’ve memorized 18 juz Alhamdulillah but I need to work on my revision and continue memorizing insha Allah. No one is perfect, I try my best to improve and better myself, I love to increase my knowledge of Islam and that’s one of the reasons I wanted to study at the feet of the scholars in the blessed city of the Prophet ﷺ al-Madinah. The Prophet ﷺ said: ‎"Verily, faith returns back to Madinah as a snake retreats back to its hole." [Bukhari & Muslim] I had a deep interest in studying Islam so I applied to study at madinah university and Alhamdulillah, by the mercy of Allah I was nominated by the university to study there. I hope to start in September 2020 for minimum 2 years (to get Arabic certificate) up to 6 years if I decide to get the bachelors degree. It would be nice if my future spouse also wanted to go to madinah with me.. I’ll decide if I want to stay depending on my families circumstances. Some of the hobbies I enjoy include traveling, going on nature walks?, hiking, playing sports, going to the gym etc. I also love eating sweets.. My plan is to hopefully make Hijra in the future insha Allah, I want my children to grow up in an Islamic environment and to be fluent in Arabic. I also want to open an Arabic language institute bi ithnillah.
Basically, someone whom I can look up to and who is gonna help support me and my choices. Someone whos good natured, kind and gentle. I am not looking for someone who will agree with me on everything but for someone that would advise me and also accepts advice and listens to it attentively and wholeheartedly. I am looking for someone religiously committed and willing to continue studying Islam and bettering herself. Easy going and someone I can joke around with Your age, marital history or ethnic background does not matter to me. Neither does your past as nobody is perfect.
