I follow a live and let live philosophy, but I also maintain my religious integrity. The live and let live philosophy is a two-way street: if I am am expected to show tolerance and patience towards others, then the same applies to them toward me and my faith. Therefore, there is no reason or excuse not to be able to practice one's faith.I do my utmost best to be a faithful and upstanding Muslim in deen and character. I show compassion towards others whether they're Muslim or non-Muslim.
There is no compulsion in religion and I don't believe in forcing anyone to do anything. The person I am looking for has to have made a personal choice to learn about Islam and become a better Muslim, eventually adopting a head scarf/hijab. I am open to reverts/converts as well, so long as there is a sincere intention to become a better Muslim and adhere to Islam. If you're simply looking for a 'friend' or 'pal' and plan on dating for a year before marriage, please skip over me. I'm not interested in that. I've learned that people are very good at hiding their true selves when all they have to do is put on a show.
