I would consider myself to be fairly religious, alhamdulillah! Over the years, my understanding of Islam has changed pretty drastically. Growing up, my family wasn't too religious though we did the basics. After going away for college, I got the opportunity to explore and learn more about Islam and other religions. I feel going through that exercise has really helped me gain firmness in Islam. No one is perfect and I do try and better myself in my deen in a consistent way insha'Allah. I am friendly, caring, and faith-driven. I try my best to pray 5x/day, recite Quran, and attend islamic conferences whenever possible. I strive to surround myself with friends that remind me of Allah and guide me to goodness. I love spending quality time with family and friends playing board games ( chess ,scrabble ), watching a movie, or going out to eat.
