Well, I reverted to Islam about eight years ago. The decision was the best thing to happen to me and I am glad Allahs wt opened my heart to Islam. It has not been an easy journey. Some family members could not understand the decision I made and decided they no longer associated with me. But I have also encountered Muslims who think less of me because I wasn't born Muslim or because I am white. This caused me to struggle with my faith early on but as I learned more about Islam the more I found peace. It is not about this dunya, but about striving to please Allahswt. During my free time, I like to read the Qu'ran attend Islamic lectures volunteer and tend to my garden. Besides Islamic related activities, I enjoy going to museums hiking and staring off into the distance on a mountain visiting new places and playing board games. There is a lot more to me, but I think it is better to save for conversation.
I would like to find someone who is willing to come on this journey with me. To be my best friend and on the days I struggle they will be there by my side. I am looking for someone that is modest loves Islam loyal and affectionate. I want our relationship to be an example for others a beacon of light to show non-Muslims, and even Muslims, the beauty of Islam and marriage. There is always a change that happens by your actions. You can lead people to or steer away from Islam. I rather strive to steer people towards Islam together with my partner hand-in-hand.
