Hum..not easy to describe yourself in a few lines.. My name is Cedric and I'm French so sorry for the mistakes in these lines.I would define myself as a revert but I've been practicing Islam for About 20 years now. I've been living in and working In Melbourne for the 3 last years and I'm now a permanent resident. It's a good start no ? Well here is a top 5 of things that make my day : - A good laugh (we all need one for sure) - A good cake ( I love cakes so much that I'm learning how to make them) - A good reading (special mention for our holy Quran, so many life's lessons there to get better as a human being and as Muslim,best reading ever !!) - A good surprise (you know when you wake up in the morning and it's rainy and grey outside but when you finally go out, the sun is out smiling at you) - A simple good feeling (a good coffee, an interesting talk with someone, or just having slept enough to not be grumpy all day .. I won't give a top 5 of things that I don't like as we need positivity instead so I'll go on with a few facts that could describe me : - I like to sing (I'm not too bad lol that's easy I'm my own audience) - I'm discovering an interest in cooking (just a beginner for now) - I like sports and especially basketball that I play as often as I can. - I like to stay fit and in a good shape, body soul and mind (except lollies .. I know I know sugar is not a friend :-( - I love my religion cause it's my balance in life and Islam is all about balancing your life so I tend to think that I'm on the right path. - I'm learning Arabic (I think that it's really good to read the Quran when you can but it's even better when you actually understand it in it's original language, and I'd like to be able to teach it to my future children inshallah so they won't struggle like me .. All good cause I love learning and I love challenges. - I'm passionate (I could read a book in in one night , or leave everything to go to live in the mountains ... No just kidding ;-) I'm trying as much as I can to increase my takwa, I'm honest, commited, and willing to do anything that I could possibly do to please my Lord to inshallah reach the Jannah. Maybe with you inshallah..
I'm searching first and foremost for a woman with Takwa and a good understanding of our Religion. Someone that understands what it implies to live as a married wife, and who is willing to commit and trust her husband to the best of her ability. I would prefer a sister that is firmly established in her deen but I'm willing to consider that religion is a long path and that we are all at different levels. What matters the most to me outside of Takwa is a woman with maturity, someone who is caring and loving, someone I could connect with on an intellectual spiritual and emotional level. Someone who understand that the life of the believer is made of challenges that requires understanding, patience and forgiveness in order to make our marital life as smooth as it can be. Someone who enjoy learning new things and with I could have interesting discussions and share quality time. Someone with a lofty vision attached to a well understood Islamic perspective on life. It is important for me that my future wife wish to have a family and see the success of her children as a priority in her life, to help them reach their goal in this Dunya as well as in the Akhira as we need to bring up to this world a new generation of blessed believers that will be the future of our oumma. If we happen to cross path but for a reason or another we feel that we are not a good match to envisage a life together, be assured that I sincerely wish you to find your other half here or somewhere else with the blessing of Allah, cause we all need it..
