I am doing my PhD in mathematics at Higher School of Economics in Moscow. I am fairly conservative by Russian standards. I was born, and still am, a Sunni Muslim, all thanks to Allah. I am looking for a woman, preferably a Muslim (but at least from among the Ahl al-KitÄb), for marriage. My interests include mathematics, physics, philosophy, learning languages, reading and collecting comic books, and many others.
It is very important for me that my future wife appreciate and respect Islamic values and teachings, even if she herself is not a Muslim. If we have children, I want them to practise Islam and Islam alone --- there can be no compromise on that. Other than that, having common interests would be a bonus. I might be wrong but I like to think of myself as a warm person and I would like the same quality in my wife --- her nature has to be such that there is mutual love and respect between us. I am certainly willing to do my part to make sure that we can achieve that, insha Allah.
